Updates from the Park:

Superintendent Jan Kirwan also expressed thanks to Vic, and to the Board, for the past year’s work.  She announced that the State is re-implementing its 14-day-max. camping limit (does not affect our Park as we have no overnight parking.)

New Business:

Events Planned for 2013:

1) Vic and Jan have met with the Balloon Club to discuss a possible event at the Park in March.

2) The Geo-cache group will plan another event this year at the Park, tentative date is Feb. 23.

Lu-Ann Tafoya will be leaving MVBSP for Living Desert Park in Carlsbad

A going-away event is being planned, and details will be sent out soon.

Park Passes were distributed to those Friends who had earned them over the past year.

Volunteer forms were distributed to those present; all Friends are asked to complete and return the Friends Volunteer form; this will provide liability coverage for Friends who are working at a Park event.
